Nicola Buckley – Health Coach
I wake up excited to create plans, meet clients and feel so lucky that this is what I get to do each day.
What did you do before studying at CNM?
Before studying with CNM I was a stay at home mum to my two young children
What made you want to become a Health Coach?
After my own health journey of PCOS and being advised I would never be able to conceive, I completely changed my diet and lifestyle and with this fell in love with health and nutrition, roll on a few years and having two children and reversing my PCOS naturally, I then spent my time focusing on my own children and family health and with it I found my passion and I wanted to be able to help others improve their health and wellbeing.
What attracted you to CNM’s Health Coach course?
I came across the College from reading an article in Natural Health and felt inspired to contact them and from the moment I spoke to them I knew this course was for me.
I believe good health is not just about the food that we eat or the exercise we do but the way in which we live, our relationship with ourself, our mindset, our purpose and connections. From experience and my own journey it really is all interlinked and they all work together to help create wholeness within and what I loved about the health coaching course is that it incorporated all of these principles.
What did you enjoy most about the course?
Every single part, from the first lecture the knowledge I gained was mind-blowing, I learnt more than I had ever thought possible, with so many life skills and lessons. The best part about the course isn’t just the knowledge you gain but the personal transformational journey that I went on whilst studying. My life has truly changed from the moment I started this course and now each day I wake up energised and inspired and say wow that was the best decision I ever made enrolling on this course.
How has studying the Health Coach diploma changed your life?
This course has changed every aspect of my life, it’s been transformational, not just our lifestyle but also personal, I have found myself and my confidence through this course and it has been inspiring and life changing.
With all that I have learnt I feel as if I have been given the secret code, all the puzzle pieces and guidance to put all the pieces together for optimal health, wellness, personal growth and mindset.
It has improved mine and my family’s life, allowed me to identify the root cause of my previous health conditions, fill in the missing links, given me an understanding, knowledge and skills to move forward and also with my husband and children health too.
We live each day now in the moment, mindful, connected, happier and healthier, with the added success of healing all of our health concerns too and also not having any minor illness at all since, it shows the magic & power of living a more naturopathic life.
What are you doing now that you are qualified?
I have my own business Wholeness Health offering 1:1 consultations and in time will run retreats to give others the knowledge and tools to live a much happier, healthier life and create wholeness within.
What do you love about being a Health Coach?
I love knowing you are making a difference in people’s lives, seeing the transformation each time we meet, the improvements in their health, feeling happier & inspired and giving them the tools to ensure this is a sustainable lifestyle for them, it is so rewarding. I wake up excited to create plans, meet clients and feel so lucky that this is what I get to do each day.
