Core responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Marketing the role and responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

  • Management of magazine adverts and editorial content
    • Negotiating renewals of contracts
    • Administration and filing
    • Co-ordinating copywriting and placement of content
    • Liaising with the graphic designer for new adverts or alterations
    • Maintaining weekly statistics
  • Regular stock-takes and ordering of printed collateral including co-ordinating changes with key stakeholders and liaising with the graphic designer.
  • Acquiring student and graduate stories and testimonials from our student base
  • Other departmental duties such as:
    • Assisting with website content changes
    • Posting events onto digital platforms such as Eventbrite
    • Setting up webinars

The ideal candidate has:

  • An eye for detail – is able to proof read both written copy and graphics
  • Creative writing skills to enable to writing of student stories into useable content
  • A passion for health, wellness, nutrition or relevant fields
  • Strong organisational skills – used to working to deadlines and managing tasks involving the input of others
  • Ideally, the person will have an interest in natural health, naturopathy, nutrition or related fields.

The role:

As a Web Designer, you’ll be responsible for the overall design, layout and coding of our websites. It’s a part-creative, part technical role and you’ll be heavily involved with both the technical and graphical aspects of the websites.

How the site works and how it looks – and making sure it performs its functions well is what you are employed for. As such you’ll be closely involved with the maintenance and updates of existing sites you have designed. You will develop websites, either from scratch or by adapting existing sites and graphics to meet business requirements.

Knowledge required:

  • An expert in WordPress, CMS and user-oriented design
  • Having a detailed understanding of SEO best practices, to be able to produce optimised pages which are fast to load and mobile responsive
  • Fluency in CSS, HTML and jQuery

The ideal candidate:

  • Must be creative and proactive
  • Has great design skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience creating websites is a must.

The role and responsibilities:

  • Evaluate target territories in terms of regulations and competitors.
  • Utilise CNM’s global network of students, graduates, and contacts.
  • Source PR opportunities and advertise in target territories.
  • Recruit and manage opinion leaders, influencers, and VIPs within the target territory. Establish B2B relations.
  • Organise Health Talks, Webinars, attendance-based events (using CNM Students and Graduates in country and cross-border).
  • Contribute to and carrying out the marketing plans for each international market.
  • Line – manage International Marketing Executives.

The ideal candidate:

  • Is a commercially driven, proven marketer.
  • Has excellent communication skills.
  • Has knowledge of natural therapies or education in marketing.
  • Has experience in opening new markets.
  • Has experience in sales.

Advantageous but not mandatory:

  • Experience in marketing internationally.

You will work from our offices in East Grinstead and from there you will support the HR Manager who handles the personnel of our head office and all our colleges in the UK and Ireland.

You will set a good example and help make the personnel happy and confident in their roles so that the company can successfully deliver its services and achieves its expansion goals.

Duties of the job include:

  • Providing technical support to students and staff.
  • Oversee and direct website administration and management.
  • Using MySQL Workbench to fix specific issues with the website.
  • Develop and improve online platforms.
  • Liaising with the academic team to ensure high quality standard of courses.
  • Assists in testing and developing new online systems and academic software to improve and streamline daily operations.

Skills required:

  • Good understanding of IT and general CRM / software systems.
  • Excellent communication skills as IT-jargon needs translating into laymen terms for students.
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems, ideally Moodle or similar platform.
  • Technical understanding of a generic Content Management System.
  • Good understanding of customer databases and software systems.
  • Good understanding of HTML, SQL, PHP or similar web languages.
  • Strong keyboard skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Good organisational skills and an enthusiasm to keep learning and developing new skills.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has some familiarity with working in an educational institution.
  • Can work independently and manage a small team of support staff.
  • Can communicate well with others and adapt quickly to changes.
  • Has an interest in solving complex technical problems.
  • Has experience in managing websites and online platforms.
  • Has a good understanding of different web technologies.
  • Has excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Is flexible to work outside office hours to provide emergency student support.
