Sometimes you just have to do what feels right to you

Philip Fowler – Health Coach Graduate

After gaining an NHS position as a Health Coach I couldn’t be more pleased!

I took the qualification on with CNM Health Coach during the first months of the pandemic, and in the end ran the majority of it whilst working full time and helping to plan and execute my wedding. Going for a career change approaching my 40’s just felt bold and risky, but in the end it just felt right and what I really wanted to do, and this field is one I care a lot about and researched heavily. Sometimes you just have to do what feels right to you, despite the risk you think it may come with.

My risk, the sacrifices and the work I had to put in behind it has paid off now, after gaining an NHS position as a Health Coach and I couldn’t be more pleased!

It was vitally important to me in the months I spent out of work to wake up each day with a purpose still. This course helped to give me a daily purpose and I just had to hope that by the end the work would pay dividends. Thankfully, I’m pleased it now has. I hope this gives real hope to other aspiring Health Coaches that if the employment route is one you want to follow, then more and more opportunities are arriving.
